BRYAN C. LONG
PRESIDENT
Bryan Long has over 30 years of experience in the land surveying and engineering field. Prior to starting Meridian Geomatics in 2003, Bryan worked for several land survey companies in the Atlanta area from 1992 to 2003. Here is a list of just a few significant projects which Bryan worked on or was in a management role to complete: The Airtran Hanger at Hartsfield Airport, Multiple projects at PDK Airport, Multiple School projects for Dekalb County Schools, Cherokee County Schools, the IRS building in Chamblee, Georgia, etc
In 2003, Bryan Long started Meridian Geomatics with a partner, Buford Norris. Buford was dual registered as an Engineer and Land Surveyor. He was a great mentor to Bryan. He has been a registered professional land surveyor since 2007. Bryan grew the business quickly, developing a large infill residential base of clients. Many small builders in the Atlanta area at one time or another used Meridian Geomatics for their construction project needs.
More recently, he has been in responsible charge for large projects all over the Metro Atlanta and North Georgia areas. Some of these projects would include McCollom Airport in Cobb County, a 400 acre subdivision development in Henry County, a 2000 acre development in Pickens County, and many other ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys and Construction projects. In addition to for profit work, he has also provided discounted services for non-profits such as Habitat for Humanity and Churches throughout the Atlanta area.
He started a non-profit called Freedom and Property Foundation to defend property rights in the state of Georgia. He believes strongly in the constitutional rights of private property as a key foundation stone of freedom in America.
SHANE DUNNAH
LEAD DRAFTER
Shane Dunnah began working at Meridan Geomatics in 2006. He has almost 16 plus years of experience in the land surveying industry, most of it here at Meridian Geomatics. He is currently taking classes at Kennesaw State and pursuing his LSIT. Shane handles a lot of the infill development design and clients within the Metro Atlanta Area. He is a Survey Tech IV.
In addition to his experience in the construction field, he also has an extensive knowledge of computers and networking which has been a valuable asset to Meridian Geomatics. He has a degree from DeVry University in Computer Information Systems and an extensive knowledge of all things IT.
Currently taking college classes to complete his LSIT.
